Force DUN Login on Windows 7 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I have a problem where users are logging into a domain through VPN in Windows 7.

At the logon screen the computer defaults to a domain login but for users to be able to authenticate to the domain they have to click on other users and then on the network button at the bottom of the screen to login via DUN.  Even more of a problem is that after this they will be able to login to the computer using cached credentials on the login screen without authenticating to the domain via VPN.  I know in XP this could be fixed in the registry using RASFORCE but in Windows 7 it doesn't seem to work.  Does anyone know of a way to force the default login screen in Windows 7 to login using DUN?

    Thanks for your time,

    ~Charles
