    Hi,

    We have a number of shared mailbox that have Audit enabled, we use the 90 days default retention period.

    Now we have been asked to keep this log for ever. Before trying to create a export procedure, a structured Database, etc.

    We looking to see if is there some 3rd party software for this end.

    Like the Promodag for messaging tracking logs.

    We have search Bing/Google and all software is to audit exchange server not for audit mailbox items changed.

    PS: We have Exchange 2010 on-premise, and this year we are upgrading to 2016 and to 2019.

    OK. Regular export should work. You can refer to the following documentation to configure and export mailbox audit log.

    you can try to create a schedule task and export the LOG every month

    Hi António,

    You can increase the retention period by changing the value for the AuditLogAgeLimit parameter. Since the AuditLogAgeLimit parameter doesn't have a maximum value, to retain the log longer, you can reset the value based on your compliance policy.

    Set-AdminAuditLogConfig -AuditLogAgeLimit <dd.hh:mm:ss>

    Hello Dawn and Chris,

    Thanks for your suggestion, we were looking for a complete package out of the box.

    We have up that search and start a new project. We will export to a Sql Database every night.
