How to customize ping monitor RRS feed

    Hello,

    I've created some ping monitors in SCE 2010 for testing DSL links. In fact, I ping the routers.

    I'd like to know if it was possible to configure SCE to send alert only after several no-responding pings ? Because by default, after 1 no-responding ping an alert is sent. For example, I'd like an alert was sent after 3 ou 4 no-responding pings.

    Hello FXE,

    For your reference, when you creat a Ping monitor, on the Choose Watcher Nodes page, you can select one or more computers to act as watchers of the ping signal. The pings will be sent from the selected computers. Also you can select the number and time units used to schedule the ping signal.

    If the loss rate of Ping packages is very high between SCE server and the routers, choose a server near the routers as the watch node would be better.
