AD account as administrator member

    Question

  • Hi ,

    had created new new account call "support" and add as administrator member, but whenever login using that support account, cant set file server folders permission , when use administrator account to login able to set the permission .

    need assistant .

  • Hi Thevan,
    Please check the membership of that account to see if it is located in other groups, which might be set as denied to modify folder permission. You could run net user /domain “<AD Account>” command to see that.
    And please check if the replication is running well among your DCs if you have multiple DCs running in your domain, if the account is not replicated into all domain controllers, the similar problem may happen. You could run repadmin command to check replication status.

    I am only running One DC.

    below is my scenario 

    when login as administrator able to see all shared users list details :

    When login as support not able to see the all shared users list
