Internet Explorer Won;t Work Correctly RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear Microsoft:

My Internet Explorer keeps not working, with varied excuses like I did not choose a connection or Internet Explorer has stopped working. This has gotten totally out of hand. I need to have a functional computer, not a defective non working one.

Can anyone help me with this? I have deleted my history, etc. and cleared my disk drive. I have done all I can think of, still the mess continues.. I'm at my wit's end..

    Please help me!

    Sincerely,

    Marta A. Sloane

  • Hi MMarta S,iss

We could try the steps below to check:

1.Click on Start and then we could click on “command prompt” and then click on that and choose Run as administrator.

Then Copy and paste this below line into “command line” and press enter button.

    Regsvr32.exe “c:\program files\internet explorer\ieproxy.dll”

After that we could reset the IE by following the steps in the link below.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/923737/how-to-reset-internet-explorer-settings

2.We could open IE in no add-on mode to check.

Hope it will be helpful to you
