Office Pro Plus 2016 64x: Power Query-Get & Transform functions cause immediate crash of Excel RRS feed

  • Question

  • Any button under 'Get & Transform', including 'Options' causes an immediate crash with a new Workbook. Looking in the Event Viewer and taking a few crash dumps, shows that it's trying to call MSCORWKS.DLL from .Net Framework 2. I'm currently working on Winver 1803 (OS Build 17134.885)

  • Hi jcyree and thanks for reporting this issue.

Can you please provide us the error bucket ID for the crash dumps you experience ?

If you type Start > Type View all problem reports

and hit Enter, you should be able to find the crash log for excel.exe and double clicking that will provide us additional information, and particularly the bucket ID for this error. Using this, we will be able to investigate this crash.

    Thanks

    Oded
