Browsing files on desktop through IE 11 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I upload a lot of images to my website, an X-Cart site, but when I go to choose the image Internet Explorer is set to view the files in the directory I'm browsing in "details" as default. I'd like the default to be "list" as this allows me to see a lot more of the images I need to upload without having to scroll. In Chrome, once you've changed the viewing option once this then stays as default for the remainder of the session, apparently this isn't so in IE. Is there away to make this the case, or better still change the default way in which the files are displayed.

    Thanks in advance,

    Matt.

  • Hi,

Do you mean the Window for choose file to upload?

I checked the windows, when made a choice about the view options, every time it will show titles as default. This might by design, and we could change this settings, see the picture below:

On the right-above side, we could change the view to the way we want.

And if you would like to give a feedback, please take a look at the below thread:

Could I customize the "choose file to upload" page in window 7

    Best regards
