Open Internet Explorer on the Desktop PC.
Perform the following.
Select File / Import and Export.
Click Next and select Export Favorites.
Click Next, twice.
Note the path to the folder where the 'Bookmark.htm' file will be placed.
Click Next several times until you see the Finish button.
Click Finish and let the wizard complete the operation.
Go to the folder where the 'bookmark.htm' file was saved.
Copy the file to any external media. (USB stick or....)
Copy/Move the file to the Desktop on the laptop computer.
On the laptop computer, open Internet Explorer. Follow the same steps, except this time select the 'Import Favorites' option and point the wizard to the 'bookmark.htm' file that you placed on the Desktop.
