Dashboard Designer SSRS Report "Unable to find report specified by URL,Please verify that both Server URL and Report URL are correct" RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there,

I am using Sharepoint server 2010 SP1, SQL Server 2008R2, PerfomancePoint 2010 and Reporting Services in SharePoint integrated mode.

The SharePoint farm has 3 servers configuring for Kerberos.

I built one report in BIDS using an Analysis Services Cube. This report has 3 parameters. So the idea is use Dashboard Designer to use this SSRS Report and connect it with some PP Filters.

The problem is that I am always obtaining "Unable to find report specified by URL,Please verify that both Server URL and Report URL are correct".

I have the following settings in the PP Report:

    Server Mode: SharePoint Integrated

Report Server URL: http://sptest/reportserver (I took it from the CA -> General Application Settings -> Reporting Services Integration)

    Report URL: http://mysitecollection/site/reportlibrary/report.rdl

I have tried to use the most simple report, only with one parameter, but is always displaying the error above.

Also, I have tried and Adventure Works sample report. An it is working, so at this point, I am very confused.

    Any idea?

    Thanks and best regards,

    Joss

  • I think your Report Server URL might not be entirely correct. Try this one instead: http://sptest/_vti_bin/reportserver

Also, we have an article on TechNet that you might find helpful: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff724283.aspx

  • Hello Joss,

I would suggest adding the December CU.  We changed how PerformancePoint communicated to Reporting Services after the August CU.  We have eliminated the Report Server URL and use only the URL pointing to the RDL report.

This will eliminate the error that you are receiving.

    Thanks
