Issue with /remote site RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,
Running a "Windows Small Business Server 2011 Standard"
It came originally with Exchange 2010 on it.
After migration to Exchange 2016, Exchange 2010 has been uninstalled from the server.
That seems to cause /remote not to work anymore.
if you try to access https://localhost from the SBS server, the "SBS Sharepoint AppPool is stopped right away, as can be seen on the screenshot.

Also Application Log, Event ID: 2280, Source: IIS-W3SVC-WP with the following details appears:
The Module DLL C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\Bin\kerbauth.dll failed to load.  The data is the error.

(Note that such file no longer exists in the path, as the Exchange has been uninstalled completely from the server)

In the System Log, Event ID: 5139, Source: WAS with the following details appears:
A listener channel for protocol '<g class="gr_ gr_870 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim ContextualSpelling ins-del multiReplace" data-gr-id="870" id="870">http</g>' in worker process '8032' serving application pool 'SBS Web Applications application pool' reported a listener channel failure.  The data field contains the error number.

When inspecting the applicationHost.config located in C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv\config, I noticed a reference to the mentioned above kerbauth.dll file.

Could anyone please provide an approach on how to address and resolve the issue so, the website will start working?

    Thank you.
