  • 1.why we restore full backup before restoring tranctional/diffrential backup in SQL SERVER 2005?

    2. is it compulsory same database name should be exist in sql server, before restoring same database?

    Transactional and Differential backup are taking from the point of Full Backup so they are required.

    2. is it compulsory same database name should be exist in sql server, before restoring same database?

    Not compulsory.

    Transactional and Differential backup are taking from the point of Full Backup so they are required.
