Difference between Evalutaion and Deployment Schedule RRS feed

    Hi,

    Can somebody explain whats the difference between evaluation and deployment , ?

    If I am not wrong we made once package (FE updates) and we make Auto Deployment Rule to apply on Client with different schedule.

    I assume you are talking about software updates? As their names imply, "evaluation" assess what is applicable on a system so that ConfigMgr can report on it. "Deployment" is actual distribution/installation to the clients.
