Upgrade sequence failed 2010 to 2013 RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I m upgrading SahrePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013 using DB attached method. when try to upgrade database using Upgrade-SPContentDatabase getting following error:

    further logs show following information:

  • Hi,

    It seems, a site column which is used in a list not finding. May be this custom column has been added to site through custom code. Plese deploy all the custom solutions if any before upgrade the database.

    Try to run Test-SPContentDatabase for all the content databases and check is there any missing or not.

    Follow the below link and do steps as per the sequence.

    I have not modified sharepoint sql, i found following solution which day delete index form sharepoint content db table, pls guide on this solution

  • I suggest to refer Microsoft support for this, since if you modified the db, it has some potential risks and hard to fix.
