  • Nano Server is not free as it is part of the Windows Server 2016 licenses. Click on the licensing sheet to get more info on the licensing.

  • Hi,

Nano Server is a deployment option within Windows Server 2016. It is included as part of the licensing of the edition from which it is deployed. it means that you don't need to purchase a separate license for Nano server.

for confirmation & more details contact Microsoft licensing support in your country.
