Windows Vista Aero Display Annoyance? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am starting to get used to Vista after using XP Pro for a long time.

However, maybe I am just getting old or going blind but when I am highliting menus in the start menu or in explorer, the shading is SO Lite I have to squint sometimes to make sure I am mousing over the correct selection.

When copying multiple files I cannot tell what ones are highlited and what ones are not.

    The highliting is so Faint.

Is there a way to make the menu and explorer highliting  darker????

  • I couldn't agree more. It is for that reason, along with other contrast issues (windows title bar text on smudge background), that I turned off aero and just used Windows Classic mode.

I tried in vain to find a way to change that colouring. :(
