Bsod - Critical_Object_Termination - ntoskrnl.exe RRS feed

  • Hi All,

    I am new to the forums and seeking your advice. I have been looking through some old posts but unable to find a thread with similar issues as mine.

    I have been encountering a BSOD. Please find attached a link to the dump file.  http://sdrv.ms/L6Cgk5 

    I have tried to analyse this dump file but unable to find any information in relation to the root of this blue screen.

    Is there any more information that you need?

  • What is your computer make and model?

    What is your graphics card make and model?

    What version of Windows 7? Is it 32 bit or 64 bit?

    Whend oes the error occur? Is it during or after the boot process has completed? If after immediately after or later?

  • Hi Gerry,

    It is Dell Optiplex 980, using a ATI Radeon HD4550, running Windows 7 x64bit.

    The boot process is always completed, the error happens within Windows, while working on a word document or surfing the web.  It has no set pattern when this occurs. 

    Let me know if you require any more information.

    You should go to the Dell website and update drivers:
    http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19

    I listed these as having available updates but there are more as I was having difficulties matching names in the dumpfile report to those on the Dell site.

    Audio - Realtek(r) High Definition Audio Function
    Chipset  - Intel(R) Management Engine Interface
    Network - Intel(R) Gigabit Adapter NDIS 6.x driver
    Video (AMD-Driver) - ATI Radeon Kernel Mode Driver

    Check the latest BIOS on the site against what you have on your computer. The latest available is likely to be newer than the one you have.

  • Hi,

    have you installed any SQL application on this pc.

    if yes

    1.Check the application version and update the latest service patch if available.

    2. if that not help, re install the application and observe.

    3.Try to update the latest windows updates

    You might increase the virtual memory limit and run chkdsk /f/r
