  • Start Exchange Management Console (EMC) with elevated privileges (Run as Administrator), if you didn't do so, and try again.

  • Have you installed the needed Role Feature "RPC over Https Proxy"?

Does it work if you try to enable Outlook Anywhere in EMS (also with elevated privileges)?

    Example:
    Enable-OutlookAnywhere -Server:CASSERVER -ExternalHostname mail.domain.com -ClientAuthenticationMethod Basic

  • Hi Martin

Also when we click on Virtual directories and open properties also getting error. (image has attached)

  • It wasn't easy to see that picture :)

Did this problem start at the same time as you had problems connecting to EMS/EMC as you posted here ?
Might be that you still have a Time Issue (you never told us what the "fix" was), so right now all I can recommend you is to restart the services IISAdmin and W3Svc and try again.

  • Hi Martin

MMC start issue was due to time issue.

Now time issue has fixed and it is ok now

MMC and Management Shell is ok.

When we try open the properties of Virtual directories pop up window disabled with error

  • So how did you "fix this Time Issue"?
    Is this a virtual server?

I still believe its the reason why you can't enable Outlook Anywhere, but I have also see the same kind of OWA-error (zooming IE to 400% made me see the picture) when Exchange Trusted Subsystem wasn't a member of the local Administrator Group.

  • Time issue fixed by manually changing time of AD to CAS and mailbox server.

Also I checked local administrator group and found that "Exchange  Trusted Subsystem " is member.

  • Hi Ashraf,

It seems lik IIS problem. I'd suggest you reinstall IIS component from the server. Is the issue continues, reinstall CAS role.

    Hope it is helpful.

  • Check if AD replication is working fine.

Remove the RPC & RPCWITHCERT virtual directories from IIS.
    Instructions: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l...47(WS.10).aspx

And then reinstall the RPC component which should put the virtual directories
    back in IIS 7

Then setup the registry keys n all, and let us know.
