Hyper-V Manager force server reboot RRS feed

  • Question

  • Morning All,

I don't tend to work much on the Hyper-V manager but we have come across an issue. We have a Linux server (love those) which is our intranet system. We have a problem with this server that it will hit a certain percentage usage and hang. The only way to fix it is reboot the whole server. I wanted to know if there is away to force a reboot if a server sits at a CPU percentage range. You may ask why don't i fix the broken server. 1. i know nothing about Linux 2. It is all controlled by a 3rd party supplier that are worse than me with Linux. 3. powers above will not pay to replace it.

Any help will be appreciated as I'm having to monitor this server 24/7 to make sure it does not fall over.
