Running Windows Server 2008 R2 (DC) and am unable to access any other servers SMB/File shares. Clients can access the shares on this server without any issues.
When you access \\servername is simply displays and error:
"Windows Cannot Access \\servername" 0x80070043 The network cannot be found.
This happens when trying to access all servers in the domain, even \\localhost errors.
- Server has been rebooted.
- Windows Firewall is disabled/switched off
- All DNS is working correctly, name resolves correct IP.
- Unable to access server via IP
- Network Discovery is turned off
- Server is unable to access any other servers or clients, Windows7, Server 2003, Server 2008R2
- Can RDP to and from the server
- Server is fully connected to the network.
- "Server" services has been restarted.
I'm not sure if this maybe this maybe related to "Network security: LAN Manager authentication level" as I've seen issues with this before. Currently set to: Send LM & NTLM - use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated
Thanks
