How do I cleanup winsxs folder to free up space ??!!!!

program in windows vista winsxslite ok work

but in windows 7 i wont program to do this mission DELETE folder WINSXS

i wont help

NEVER delete files from the WinSxS folder:

Should you delete files in the \WinSXS directory? And what’s the deal with VSS?

Need more information about what’s in \Winsxs, look here

It is strongly recommended NOT TO delete the WinSxS folder because it is also the part of application/system file.

http://www.out-web.net/?p=623 this website gives you some tips for safely deleting some contents from that folder.

Hi,

The winsxs folder cannot be deleted since it is important. But we can compress it.
