  • The year 9415? how did this happened and how to remediate let's say there are 1000 clients out there.

  • There's nothing wrong with this. The normal expiration is 99 years from issuance, but as long as the cert is valid, then it's fine. Are you experiencing any trouble?

  • Something is definitely wrong. The clients with these odd years (and this is not 99 years; 9415 - 2016 = 7399). Clients stopped reporting to SCCM console, hw and sw stopped running, no SCEP updates.

  • Yep, they are clearly not 99 years -- didn't say they were -- just that they weren't expired.

    What happens if you delete the certs and restart the ConfigMgr agent on a test system?

  • Then it would work fine. Just don't understand why it occurred? Remediation would be remove the certs, restart SMS Agent Host Servvice.
