Disable right click context menu on "Start Button" RRS feed

    Hi,

    I have tried disabling the Right click option on "Start Button" using the following options

    1. Removing the shortcuts in WinX folders

    2. setting the registry key "NoTrayContextMenu")

    but even after applying either of the above fixes, it doesn't disable right click option.

    However, after removing the content in Winx folders, when I click on one of the items in right click Menu, it gives me an error saying that the  the shortcut files are not found as shown below. Blocking items in this way only serves the purpose partially in my case.

    Can you please recommend any solution which can completely disable the right click option for Standard user.

    Hi,

     

    You can control this by yourself in the default profile under:

    C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WinX

    Here you can hide/remove those shortcut you don't want the users to see.
