Microsoft Edge totally stopped working! Use to work, but now it just won't open!

Question

I think basically I said it all in my Title. I've had Windows 10 for quite some time now...and when I first installed it...Edge worked fine! Edge worked for months! And then just out of the blue...it stopped! I click on Edge to open it...it starts to open, but then just suddenly crashes and disappears! Instant Closure! Just goes away! I have no idea why its doing this! I have been using an old version of Internet Explorer or Google Chrome....these both work fine...but Edge won't do ANYTHING!!!!

First try from a command prompt (right click start open Command Prompt), copy and paste;
start microsoft-edge:http://
That will open Edge to a blank page, see if that works. If not http://www.greatis.com/security/edge-reset-button.htm resets Edge so try that.

Hi Cary,
You can try reset Edge to see the result.
Delete package Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe, then type PowerShell command to re-register Edge. For more information, check this link below.
