Lync 2013 + Skype for Business 2015 environment + Hybrid RRS feed

  • Question

  • Can we setup Hybrid from Lync 2013 in mix environment of Lync 2013 + SfB 2015 which are in different geographical locations, or is it mandatory to setup Hybrid from higher version (i.e SfB 2015)

  • Hi Arhaan,

Based on your desciption , is this issue Lync 2013 and SFB 2015 co-exist envrionment ,Lync 2013 server and SFB 2015 server in different geographical locations ,not the hybrid environment (SFB online and on-premise server), am I right?

Yes ,it can be achieved ,but you should ensure the Lync 2013 server could join in the same domain. Then open the SFB 2015 topology add in the Lync 2013 server, because the Lync 2013 server’s toplogy is not include the SFB servers’ option.
