  • This one crash was related to USBPORT.SYS.  It was taking far to long to repond and killed PnP.  Can you tell me what devices are on USB?

  • Thx for your fast reaction.

    Here are all my USB devices:

    * Raptor Gaming USB Keyboard

    * Logitech Pro9000 Webcam

    * Creative USB Wireless Headset HS1200

    * Logitech G5 Gaming Mouse

    * iPhone5 Dockinstation (not original) and iPhone wasn't connected at the crashtime

    * USB Hub, but no device was connected!

    I've forgot that I have an old PCI USB Card with five USB Ports. One of these ports is inside the PC Tower (this USB Port didn't recognize any USB devices)

    Three of the other four outside USB Ports are used. All the USB devices which are connected to this PCI USB card works perfectly and they are correctly connected with windows. In the device-manager all the usb-devices are correctly connected.

    I hope I could help you with these informations?!

  • First try this fixit  http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Tips-for-solving-problems-with-USB-devices

    If that doesnt work please upload your Event viewer logs like this

    Please provide us with your Event Viewer administrative logs by following these steps:

    Click Start Menu
    Type eventvwr into Search programs and files (do not hit enter)
    Right click eventvwr.exe and click Run as administrator
    Expand Custom Views
    Click Administrative Events
    Right click Administrative Events
    Save all Events in Custom View As...
    Save them in a folder where you will remember which folder and save as Errors.evtx
    Go to where you saved Errors.evtx
    Right click Errors.evtx -> send to -> compressed (zipped) folder
    Upload the .zip file here (if you can) to skydrive or a file sharing service

  • For one Unkown device the fix would download the driver but it doesnt work.

    After this method I've got the information that 2 problems have to fix.

    Yesterday I uninstall the ISCT-Agent Software from Intel, because I dont want to use this service and I've got a few problem with this. This service write always an event in the Event viewer, I hope you can see this problem in die error file.

    Here are my Events:

  • You have many more issues than even you realize they include

    Many, many applications that were installed and not removed correctly.  These include  Hundreds of Bon Jour service errors, ISCTA agaent, Integrator, Apple mobile device service,

    An Error in Outlook.

    Net Runtime (wrong version installed)

    Frankly it would be easier to just do a clean install of the OS

  • Maybe you are right. But the problem is, that I've did a new install
    of the OS at last sunday. The reason for the new install of the OS was
    that my pc unexpected shut down from time to time without a reason. Then
    I've installed my OS new with all drivers for the motherboard,
    videocard and all windows updates.

    But there was the first
    problem. I've got different error events from the ISCT-agent in the
    event viewer. I've reinstall the driver for this service and I've got
    more and more errors. I research this problem and get the information
    that I've to install the Version 2.x for the ISCT-agent but the errors
    events remained unclear. After this I updated my BIOS I try it again.
    Sometimes there are ISCT-agent errors and sometimes not.

    If I
    didnt install the ISCT-agent one component in the device-manager show me
    a bang (!). A few time later my pc crashed with the bluescreen and
    trigger all these Bonjour services, cant realised why. I've only
    installed the newest version of iTunes, nothing more (no Bonjour
    service!), but I've got these Bonjour service error in the event-viewer.
    I think maybe I've to install Apple's Bonjour service to fix these
    problem.

    That was the story from sunday till yesterday.

    Now I've removed the PCI USB card from my pc.

    Any kind of hint what I've to consider for a new install of the OS?!

    Thanks for help.
