driver_irql_not_less_or_equal using Win7 Backup & Restore to USB External HDD RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a Seagate Free Agent 1.5TB USB drive connected to my network via the Shareport USB on my D-Link DIR-628. Every time I've used Win7 Backup & Restore to create a system image, backup the C drive or even just delete existing files on the drive using Windows Explorer I get the driver_irql_not_less_or_equal. No other program has ever caused this error. I'm running Norton Antivirus 14. I tried to look at the memory.dmp file but at over a half gig that was the proverbial needle in a haystack. Suggestions?
