    msExchangeRemoteRecipientType
    msExchangeRecipientTypeDetails 

    I tried with set Ad object but not working

    Set-ADObject <Your Object DN> -replace @{ "msExchRecipientDisplayType" = **}

  • Did you try the Exchange Set-Mailbox command with the -RemoteRecipientType parameter?

    Could you tell the reason?

    Please make sure you use exchange version. If you use exchange exchange 2010/exchange 2013, please follow the Willard's suggestion.

    If you use exchange 2003/2007, you need to change msExchangeRemoteRecipientType value via ADSIEDIT.
