Eudora in Windows 7 Professional can't find attachment directory used in XP RRS feed

  • Question

  • I recently migrated Eudora running on XP to a new computer running windows 7 professional.

I used the original Eudora installer and everything seems to work fine, with 1 exception; Eudora can't find any of the attachments associated with emails received when I was using Eudora under XP.  Using Eudora running XP, I had setup the attachment directory to be "C:Documents and Settings/Name/Desktop/CompanyName/Email In" .

In Windows 7, it seems the Documents and Setting folder no longer exists, so it would seem that I don't have the option to use the same attachment directory name that I had used in XP. Is this true?  I have read some other threads and i gather the Documents and Settings folder does exist, however it is not accessible.  This is a big problem because I have many old emails that have attachments and I need to access the email including the attachments.

Any suggestions for solving this problem are greatly appreciated.
