    Hi,

    I am just reviewing our backup and restore strategy and I was wondering if the databases below with ?? against have corresponding Skype for Business Power Shell commands that can export/backup the contents of the databases? From my research it looks like we have to rely on SQL backups (which we do take). I also have a copy of the filestore being copied with Robocopy.

    Hi Blue_Craig,

    Some items should be backed up for Skype for Business server:

    Topology configuration information (CS Configuration)

    Location Information service data (CsLisConfiguration)

    User data

    Response Group setup/information

    Backup File Stores

    SQL DB

    In my research, something could be exported to files via PS as you said, however I think it is better to use SQL backups for SQL DB. Please refer to this link:

    According it, use the command “Backup-SqlDatabase -Database <dbName> -BackupFile <bakFile> -Initialize” to do back-end databases backup.
