What's your original calendar?
I added a Google Calendar to my Outlook as a test. There is no update settings in Account Settings > Internet Calendar:

Generally, we can go to Send/Receive tab, click Send/Receive Groups > Define Send/Receive groups to set the Internet Calendar. There is a setting for "Schedule an automatic Send/Receive". Double-click the group, the Internet Calendar subscriptions
is included in the Send/Receive group:

You can create a new group and define the send/receive settings for the Internet Calendar specially.
