Question

I have a user whose Outlook does not automatically download new emails on starting. Have to manually press sen/receive button to see new emails. We have tried creating a new mail profile, still the same issue. Please help.
Thanks.

Hi,
Do you mean when you start Outlook, it does not automatically perform a send and receive operation to download messages from the server?
If this is the case, hopefully the steps below to create a new Send/Receive group can be helpful:
- Click File > Options > Advanced.
- Scroll down to the Send and Recieve section, click Send/Recieve.
- Under Group Name, click the group, and then click Copy.
- Under Send/Receive Group Name, type the new group name, and then click OK.
- Under Group Name, click the old group name.
- Under both When Outlook is Online and When Outlook is Offline, click to clear the check box for
Include this group in Send/Receive (F9). - Click Close and restart Outlook.
Best regards,
Yuki Sun
