  • Automatic consistency checks

    Hello everyone,

If I select to Run a consistency check if a replica becomes inconsistent, how does DPM establish if a replica has become inconsistent in the first place?  Is it constantly comparing the source with the replica?  Also, what causes a replica to become inconsistent?

  • Hi

The DPM Access Manager service monitors DPM alerts and performs auto-heal operations like auto-grow, auto-rerun, and auto-cc when an alert comes in.

See the following blog for more details.

Several reasons for inconsistent replica, easiest way is to look at the failed job details leading to the inconsistent replica.
