Intune CSP clarification for windows 10 mobile

    Question

  • We are in Intune hybrid mode and managing windows 10 computers through MDM channel

We wanted to configure windows 10 P2P settings through Intune . while going through below URL its mentioned that this is not supported for Windows 10 Mobile...

what does this mean ??? cant we apply this setting for Windwos 10 Ent MDM managed devices ? what does Windows 10 mobile mean here? computer enrolled through MDM channel to Intune which show as mobile?

    "DeliveryOptimization/DOAbsoluteMaxCacheSize

Note  This policy is only enforced in Windows 10 Pro, Enterprise, and Education editions and not supported in Windows 10 Mobile."

  • You're confusing the name of the OS for how the system is treated.

Windows 10 Mobile is a name for an edition/version of Windows 10.

Windows 10 managed as a mobile device -- using the MDM channel -- is how the device is managed.

Treating a Windows 10 system as a mobile device is not the same as saying it is running Windows 10 Mobile.

Two different things, two different contexts.

    > Note  This policy is only enforced in Windows 10 Pro, Enterprise, and Education editions and not supported in Windows 10 Mobile."

This note is clearly talking about operating system edition/version.
