Windows 7 BSOD RRS feed

  • Hi everyone!

I recently bought a new computer custom build by CyberpowerPC with the following specs:

    CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-760 2.80 GHz 8M Intel Smart Cache LGA1156

    MOTHERBOARD: [CrossFireX] Asus P7P55 LX Intel P55 Chipset DDR3 LGA1156 ATX Mainboard w/ 7.1 HD Audio, GbLAN, USB2.0, SATA-II, RAID, 2 Gen2 PCIe, 2 PCIe X1, & 3 PCI

    HDD: 640GB SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 64MB Cache 7200RPM HDD (Single Hard Drive)

MEMORY: 8GB (2GBx4) DDR3/1600MHz Dual Channel Memory Module (Corsair or Major Brand)

VIDEO: * NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 1GB 16X PCIe Video Card (Major Brand Powered by NVIDIA)

    OS: Microsoft® Windows® 7 Professional (64-bit Edition)

Computer worked great for a few months, but recently started BSODing. I first encountered it while playing GTA-IV - the game just froze up and BSOD appeared. After that the computer restarted and I wasn't able to start the game at all - it would BSOD right on start up. I shut the computer down and after starting it back up, everything came back to normal. A few days later, it BSODed again, then another game (MS Flight Simulator X) also froze up and BSODed. Last night it started BSODing a lot and seemingly random - after restarting Windows would BSOD on start up, then start normally but BSOD in several minutes after starting normally, then BSOD while starting in safe mode, etc. As of this morning, I can start Windows normally, but as soon as this game starts, it BSODs again, every time although at different moments of loading.

All BSOD minidumps can be found here

Please help - that really sucks to have it on a brand new PC!
