Unable to create Custom reports- Upgraded SCCM from SP1 to R2 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Our SCCM 2012 was upgraded from SP1 to R2 and we are now unable to create Custom Reports.

After downloading and when we run the Report Builder it gives a message as

"Cannot Start APplication-Application Validation did not Succeed.Unable to Continue"

As per this blog : http://www.adamfowlerit.com/2013/10/21/sccm-2012-r2-upgrade-breaks-report-builder/ Verified Registry and

    Microsoft.ConfigurationManagement.exe.config looks good.

CU2 exist on server for SCCM 2012 SP1 in Add/remove Programs.

  • If you read the error above about the hash and manifest, you will se this is a RB Setup error and not a CM12 error. You would be better to post your question in the SQL forum or better yet to use BIDS instead.
