  • Greetings,

The Start menu in Windows 7 is different from the Windows XP style.

If you want to re-arrange programs in Windows 7, there are more steps you have to try which are similar with Windows XP.

Click the Start button, right-click All Programs , and click Open All Users .
It is the display path of Start Menu (C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu) .  You can create a folder to re-arrange the shortcuts. The folder will be displayed on the left pane of Start Menu by sort.
If you occur to come across some problem when taking these steps, please let me informed of it.

If you want to make the favorite application first listed in the menu. Right-click their icons, you can “pin to the Start Menu”, “pin to Taskbar” or “Send to -> Desktop Shortcuts”.
