  • Hi,

We would need further information in order to help you out. Project Server version? Single entry mode activated?

Have you checked-out the timesheet status to see if there are any errors while submitting it?

Then you have to differenciate the status manager that will approve the task updates on his project and the timesheet manager that will approve the entire timesheet. If you set in the timesheet settings that lines must be approved prior to the timesheet, then the timesheet manager will receive the approval request only after the status manager would have approved the task updates.

  • Hi,

Thus your issue is about the status manager approval that is prior to the timesheet manager approval. Depending on how the timesheet approval chain is configured, the approval will not go to the timesheet manager before the status manager has approved the task updtaes.

Please read this post on status manager:

  • Please provide the following

Who is project owner of Project?

Who is status manager on Task?  Please sure to look this one up.

Who is the timesheet manager of the resource assigned ?

    Who is doing the approvals?

Check all the filters on the Approval page and verify that they are not on.

    Cheers
