Why virtualize Office? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I understand that virtualize some small apps that change many times like Acrobat Reader or some viewer, Winzip is a good idea. But, thinking on Office I dont see any good point to virtualize this app. I know if I virtualize Office I can use more than one version on same computer, but this is not a very good point, I think that Office need more time to change, by example, in my company we have Office 2007 and now we are mirating for Office 2010. After this we will change the Office version only after some years (in the next version released by Microsoft), then this not require APP-V.
Please, help me to see good points to virtualize Office.
