  • Hi,

Please go to the manufacturer's website and download the Vista driver (if available). If you can't find it from there, please check Windows Update and see if you can find the driver there. If the driver is not there, please contact the manufacturer for the driver.

You should be able to install the Vista driver on Win7 RC.

Post back if you need additional assistance.

  • Found proper driver on http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/home.aspx !! searched by the Device ID(USB\Vid_079B&Pid_004A) found that the dongle is identical to Atheros Wifi Wireless Lan USB adapter, You can use device manager to verify that yourself! The compatable driver can de downloaded at http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Search.aspx?q=USB%5CVid_079B%26Pid_004A , Extract with winrar or another utility for extracting *.Cab files and install from device manager. Please respond and let us know how that works for you..
PS there are two identical looking downloads, one is a 64bit driver, the other is 32 bit driver...

  • Yeah! shakeyplace, that was it!!
I was more than fustrated with my EDUP nameless usb dongle which I managed to relate to sagem somehow.
But finding sagem x64 driver was pain in the *ss. Thank you very much, I think you could honour your self with a medal of a kind :D

  • no matter what i did, i still can't use the device.

it's XG-760A and has ZyDAS ZD1211 chip on it. i've downloaded drivers from windows update catalog and other sources but no luck. it's still an "Unknown Device" for my Win 7 x64 :(

can someone give me a hand to find the proper driver?
