Compatibility Settings, site automatically added to list RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I would like to find out if a site can automatically be added to the list in Compatibility View Settings.

A having issues with a certain site and see it's listed under Compatibility View Settings, once they remove it, the site shows up as fine.

As far as i know, only way to add something there is to manually added or via registry. Barring this, is there any other way this site could have come up in there?

Enterprise mode.  Also, use the Developer Tools (F12) Emulation tab to see how you got there.  FWIW in the Developer Tools, Emulation tab I see Browser Profile Enterprise as an option but I don't know if all browsers get to see that without having the Enterprise mode plugin.  It's not in Edge.
