  • Hi saahil2015,

You should install Skype for Business Server components on the “Front End” virtual Server.

The Skype for Business Server Deployment Wizard won't let you install any Skype for Business components on a DC. You'll get this error "Prerequisite not satisfied: This product cannot be installed on a DC".

The article below provides step by step installation of a Skype for Business Enterprise 2015 Front-end server.

  • You need to install SFB on the front end server.. if this is the only server you have, consider deploying standard edition. Consider deploying enterprise edition, if you have (at least) two servers for front end and one server for backend.

Follow this article to deploy standard edition: http://windowspbx.blogspot.in/2015/05/installing-skype-for-business-2015.html

Follow this article if you want to deploy enterprise edition: http://www.rtcpedia.com/Blogs/Action?blogId=35&blogURL=StepByStepSFBInstall
