Direct link to my views RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I don't know much about proclarety :-) I have an intranet from where some users want a link to there my views in proclarety. I can link to server/pas, to link to the start page of proclarety. From there I can click the MyView link.

The problem is, that that link calls a javascript function. Is it possible to make a direct link to the proclarety my views site?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Hello Claus 2c,

This functionality is not available with a standard ProClarity installation.  Are you asking if it's possible to create a link to My Views without using Javascript?  In order to do so you would need to write your own customizations and I have never heard of anyone doing this, but that's not to say it is impossible.  However, since ProClarity's Web Standard is composed of JavaScript and HTML, creating an interface or link without using JavaScript may not be attainable.

This is a question best suited for a ProClarity SDK Engineer or consultant.

  • Claus,

Amanda is right.  However, you might be able to create a generic "entry" My View for all users.  They would still have to navigate to the view they want to see, though.  So, no saving of clicks.

    Hello Amanda,

    Thank you for your reply.

I think my question was, if there was an easy way to link to my view :-)  But writing my own customizations is to much work, just to save the users for one click.
