In Windows Explorer there is the facility to display the page count in the details view of a folder. If I close an updated document and save the changes the document page count in Windows Explorer will show 1 page. As a work around I have found that manually
saving the document (Ctrl+s) before closing it does update the page count to the correct value. It would be more convenient if Word would do the job itself.
I have an HP dv7 pc with an Intel Core i7 processor and 8 GB of memory, running Windows 7 x64 and Office 2010 x64.
