Microsoft Excel has stopped working (Data mining Add-in) RRS feed

  • Question

  • My Excel 2013 recently crashed on me whilst running a very large amount of data through power query into the data model.  Upon restarting Excel, the Data Mining Add-in caused excel to fail to load.  When I disable it, Power Query also becomes disabled.  I can re-enable power query, and it seems to work.  But when I re-enable the data mining add-in, it crashes again.  I have tried running repair on Excel, powerquery, data mining add-in and sql analysis services.  I have also tried uninstall and reinstall of Excel, power query and data mining add-in.  I have been unable to locate the cause of the crass and desperately want my data mining tools back.  Can anyone help?
