PWA: Task overdue email notices even though the task is completed RRS feed

  • Hi Team,

    I have set-up task due notification for my team using this option “Managers: Set up notifications about your team” under PWA setting in Sharepoint 2016 and it works great until below issue came up

    Environment: Sharepoint 2016 on-perm with project server enabled

    Permission Mode: Sharepoint

    Project Type: Enterprise project (with connected Sharepoint Site)

    Issue:

    Team members are getting task due notifications even they have completed

    1. Completed the task (100%)
    2. Manger has approved the task
    3. Manger has re-published the project

    Any help (idea, fix, troubleshooting steps) would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hi,

    please check the notification settings of the users? Did they really change the seetings to get only notifications on "due". With default settings, they will get any notification for task changes. Be aware, that you can't check notifications in a delegate session, users have to do on their own.

    I have already checked these settings and user does not configure alerts.

    Any other way I can check?
