Receiving Duplicate Emails

Question
-
Hi,
Here's my scenario,
testing@abc.com is an email account.
Also, testing@abc.com is a member of grouptesting@abc.com mailing list.
Whenever someone sent an email to testing@abc.com and cc grouptesting@abc.com, the user will receive two same email in the inbox.
Is there any way to separate the emails to two different folders automatically whenever received two same email? For example, one goes to folder A and another one goes to folder B.
I tried by playing around with the rules but it's still not working.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Yuki Sun,
The link isn't helpful. We are using MDaemon to host our mail server. It will delete only when there is two same email sent to testing@abc.com. If people sent to testing@abc.com and grouptesting@abc.com, it will not filter who are the members within that mailing list. So in the end, it will still send to every member of grouptesting@abc.com mailing list.
Hi MH96,
Thanks for getting back to us with more details. Then is this situation, I am afraid it is not feasible to separate the duplicated messages in Outlook client since there is no condition to filter them.
Personally I'd like to suggest contacting the customer support for MDaemon to see if it is possible to avoid the duplication.
Another thought is that you may consider taking advantage of the Conversation Clean Up feature to move the redundant messages to another folder. For more details about this feature, please refer to the following article:

Hope this can be helpful.

Hi MH96,

From my experience, in this scenario, testing@abc.com will only receive one message in his Outlook while the other duplicated one is deleted during the transporting process.
Does this issue affect all users in your environment? Have you tried contacting your administrator to see if any clues can be found from messagetracking log?

Hi Yuki Sun,
I had already contacted MDaemon and waiting for their reply. Btw, the link you mentioned about using conversation clean up to delete redundant messages, it was helpful but is there any way to automate this option? So that user would not need to click on the button everytime they received emails.

Hi MH96,
As far as I know, I am afraid there is no built-in option available in Outlook to automate the Conversation Clean Up option.
