Task Bar vanishing RRS feed

  • The taskbar suddenly disappears completely when coming back from Sleep mode. The only thing that remains is the Start Menu button/orb.  If you right-click in the area where the taskbar is supposed to be, you get the context menu for the desktop, as if it’s totally gone.

    I have already done following:

    1. Opened Task Manager (Ctrl + Alt + Del), clicked on the Processes tab, end the explorer.exe task, clicked File, chose New Task, and typed in explorer.exe and pressed Enter.

    Nothing happens.

    2. Unchecked the box next to “auto-hide the taskbar” in the properties panel of the taskbar.

    Nothing happens.

    Problem remains.

    Based on your description, I would like to suggest you create a new use account for a test.

    If it works, please refer to fix a corrupted user profile.

    Clean boot and go to safemode to check, also try scan you PC using antivirus
