PS 2010 - Users are getting Inactivate during AD Synchronization RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear Guys,

During the AD Resource Pool Synchronization some users are getting inactivated, although they are active in AD. What could be the reason behind this and how can we fix this?

    Need Help.

    Thanks

    Hi Mohsin,

First check event log. You may see error of 7714 and 7734.

Identify resource UID using following query

    Select RES_Name, RES_UID from msp_resources where RES_name like '%replace with user name%'

Use following query to clear existing ADGUID from Project Server Published databases

    Update MSP_RESOURCES SET WRES_AD_GUID=NULL
    WHERE RES_UID= 'replace with RES_UID'

  • Dear Hrishi,

We do not have any such event id in the event viewer.

    Thank you

Is your AD ERP sync pool is successful or partially successful?

  • Check if those users who are getting inactive are present in the same "Organization Units" with which you are doing AD sync.
