Monitoring Exchange 2016 with SCOM 2012 R2 RRS feed

    Hi,

    My understanding is that there is no management pack for Exchange 2016 and that the Exchange 2013 MP should be used.

    Per This blog: https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/exchange/2016/06/13/monitoring-exchange-server-2016-with-system-center-operations-manager/

    However, I am finding that the Exchange 2016 servers do not show up under the Exchange 2013 group within the Monitoring module of the admin console

    The servers running Exchange 2016 (Windows Server 2012 R2) do show up under windows computers and the agent shows as healthy.

    Has anyone gotten this to work?

    I see there were a few posts about it earlier this year but no resolution.

    Hi Sir,

    If exchange server 2013 hasn't been monitored by that SCOM server I'd suggest you to following that MP guide :

     Also , please check if there is any event log arosed at agent side .

    Hi Mike,

    I have used the MP to monitor MSX 2016 and had also some issues, because of PowerShell related settings. Please take a look here, it can be useful also in your case:

    Exchange 2013 Addendum MP – for Exchange 2013 and 2016

    Try it out, maybe it is the solution in your case.
