Local admin GPO restricted group preferences performance issues

    Question

  • We are using Group Policy preferences to control local admin group access on servers. We are creating several entries for each farm of servers, I think we are at about 50 entries.

Is there any performance issues with processing a GPO on the server with that many entries?

I don't have such experience but it should be ok. Besides, we can check the option Apply once and do not reapply for a GPP item to apply it only for once.

Regarding the option Apply once and do not reapply, the following article can be referred to for more information.
